Parent's Night Out - TBA

For Young Samurai Members and their Friends!
Parent's Night Out allows parents to enjoy a much-needed night out on the town, knowing their kids are safe and having a blast at New York Jiu Jitsu. Children enjoy an evening of fun, games, movies, and the chance continue their martial arts development under the watchful eyes of our instructors. Parents' Night Out is held on select Friday and/or Saturday evenings and is open to both Young Samurai members and their guests.

Unlimited YS Members: Free
Per Class Members: $5 per evening
Friends of YS Members: $10 per evening

Good Health Day 2005 - Wednesday August 3, 2005

NYJJ's Young Samurai Program participated in a local event to promote child health and safetys on Wednesday August 3, 2005 10am-3pm at Sara D. Roosevelt Park (between Chrystie and Forsyth Streets) in Chinatown.

NYJJ joined the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center at Good Health Day 2005 to promote community health and child wellness. Good Health Day has been a tradition in the community for 25 years and counting. Good Health Day 2005 offered free screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, and other health issues. Interactive health activity booths addressed oral health, diabetes, cardiovascular health, pediatrics, and women's health. Children and families took part in fun activities, such as face painting, clowns, aerobics, music, and cultural performances.

NYJJ was be featured at a booth to address child safety, self-defense, and child development. NYJJ raffled chances to win free membersips and class packages to the Young Samurai Program.

Birthday Parties

Does your Young Samurai have a birthday coming up? Let New York Jiu Jitsu host the party for you!

Our birthday parties are a fun and unique way to make your childs birthday party more memorable. Whether your child is a student of NYJJ's Young Samurai program or not, our facilities are available for birthday party use. Our staff does all the work and cleanup so parents can enjoy their child's special day. For children 4 years old and up.

We provide:

90 minutes party total
30 minute martial arts lesson
Unique participation games to include everyone
Pizza
Soda, water, juice
All plates, silverware, cups, napkins, etc.
Balloons and decorations in the studio
Banner with your child's name
Awards for all children who attend (1 free week of classes)

You provide the birthday cake and any goody bags you may want to give out.

10 child party $250
Each additional child $20

Young Samurai Halloween Party

On Saturday, October 30 from 4pm-7pm we hosted a Halloween party for our Young Samurai and their spooky friends and family! It was a great success.
